I don’t know which upset me more: losing Pushing Daisies or losing Eli Stone. Apparently ABC doesn’t care, because both shows have been canceled.
Pushing Daisies had me hooked from the first episode. Their use of color is absolutely brilliant, and I love the quirky humor, the narration, and how the characters can randomly burst into song. Likewise, the musical numbers were a big draw for me with Eli Stone. The Broadway pull for both of these casts was amazing.
This is a sad, sad day for TV.
I wonder if sending pies to ABC could get us a few more episodes of Pushing Daisies the way sending nuts to CBS got us closure on Jericho.
