Here we go again!
- Adult Charles Widmore with the crazy hair riding the horse? It’s a good look for him.
- So many fateful meetings this season! Lightning should have crashed when young Ben met young Charles.
- “Welcome back to the land of the living.” A common enough greeting to someone who’s been unconscious or in a coma, but a bit more ominous when uttered by someone you’d, well, murdered.
- Interesting added subtext with “Locke” telling Ben that the smoke monster would understand if everything he’d done was truly for the good of the island. Considering, almost undoubtedly now, that this resurrected Locke is the smoke monster. Jacob’s nemesis. The man in black.
- The fear in Penny’s voice, begging little Charlie to go back inside… then WHAM! Desmond beat the bloody pulp out of Ben.
- Phil was awfully stupid to walk into Sawyer’s house once he produced the surveillance tape.
- Eloise Hawking as a young mother is every bit as intense as the older Eloise Hawking.
- I think that Eloise could have changed the past. She’s his mother.
- The little coffee club meeting in Sawyer’s house was rather intense.
- “I’m not allowed to have chocolate before dinner.” I don’t think I caught that the first time around, the reason why Charlotte said it right before she died.
- “Any one of us can die, Jack.” Sniff.
- Desmond and Penny kisses make me feel all squishy inside. Every time.
- And Penny will never know that Daniel was her half-brother.
- Also… how would Eloise know that her bullet wouldn’t go through Daniel and into Richard anyways?
- “There’s something different about you.” Good catch, Richard. But it’s not enough.
- Hehe. Hurley did get asked who was the President of the United States.
- I don’t know about you, but I’d never be able to hold my breath long enough to get to the underwater cavern where the Jughead ended up. I can’t open my eyes underwater either.
- Uncomfortable “Three’s Company” moment when Kate joins Sawyer and Juliet on the submarine.
One disc left to watch… then the long wait until next Tuesday…
