It was only about five seconds long, but we did see that Jack survives his attempt on Ben Linus’s life in the operating room, although he seems to have found his new home in a cage likely vacated by either Kate or Sawyer.
And Cindy is alive! I wasn’t able to make out any of the other faces of the crowd outside the cage, but I’ll take a wild guess that most of them were taken from the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815.
Maybe we’ll finally learn why Cindy - the flight attendant who had a thing with Bad Twin author Gary Troup – disappeared on the hike from the Tailies camp back to the beach with the rest of the lostaways. Speculation flew wildly when it happened. Did the Others grab her while Sawyer was being hoisted up the cliff in the stretcher? Or was Cindy in cahoots with the Others, deciding to rejoin her people before coming into contact with more of the plane crash survivors?
