Hurley's imaginary buddy Dave threw a shoe at him. Dead Charlie smacked Hurley in the head - and that was off-island. Kristen from EW noted a coversation that Claire and Miles had had in last week's episode. It was something to the effect of "I'm not badly hurt... I'll live." And Miles replied, "I wouldn't be so sure about that." Maybe because he can communicate with ghosts and knows that she's already dead? Ghosts seem to be able to do a number of things on the Island.
